Back to School

When asking fellow peers here at work in the WRC this morning, the following terms were brought to the table in conversation: stressful, tired, apprehension, anticipation, lost.   I’m confident that we can all relate to one of the above phrases, now that we have survived these first two weeks of classes. Waiting for parking, adding and dropping classes, standing in book store lines, and adjusting to new routines, as students we are experiencing lots of different feelings and emotions as we return to another semester. Like anything we encounter in life, ultimately we have so many choices and options as to how we are going to react when feeling the above emotions and feelings. Sometimes we can feel like we are in the refiner’s fire with outside stress and pressures. Taking time to learn skills to help us overcome and walk through the challenges of our academic and personal life to be successful, can only help prepare us for the future.
